The WD RE drives only have 2 year warranty as well.

Better just to get the WD My Book 2TB which comes with everything for $99.

call them yourself, they just told me 5 years.

Also the Re class drives support TLER - time limited error recovery. which in short makes them a better choice for raid arrays.
SED support is optional where as its not support by blacks at all. With Raff they have better vibration protection also and since were
talking a external drive that make sthem better then regular blacks.
