Yeah. The nuance is definitely...gone.

But do you run through it fast paced or do you explore every nook and cranny trying to gain an edge on the ever increasingly difficult hordes of hell?



Mmhmm. I miss Quake. It used to be on of my favorites and then it died.

You will prolly like the new Doom. Multiplayer DOOM, reminded me of Quake, when they started jumping around like they were on the Moon.

Yeah, that shyt, does nothing for me. All the weapons and location grfx are a bit put there too.
I don't mind nice grfx, but they went overboard.

The weapons have skill trees too. Not needed, IMO the weps should just be the same as the 1995-2000 Doom, with better grfx, but just the 7 weps, with no skill trees.

So a reskin of what DOOM was with better graphics. Massive DOOM HD overhaul.

I wish someone would make a DOOM game like the originals but with tons of levels and online co-op. Maybe DOOM horde mode.

Pretty much.

Same game play...3 keys...lots of secret doors etc.
Complex maps, not necessarily just big.
Well thought out music to match the level.

Like the "Steel Factory" level 14 ...in the TNT.wad of Final Doom. Was awesome.

Try to imagine this taking 45 mins instead of 10 mins.
