Threw in my old vid card which worked in the old build this morning and it has much louder fans.

I can hear the fans working hard in short bursts and then going to thier idle speed.

okay, so the problem is you're getting no display?

double check your monitor wires, make sure they are not loose.
Not just the connection to the computer, but also the monitor itself.
Or use ur monitor with the old build, and check if ur monitor is working.

Also, you connected the monitor connection to the GPU right? not into the mobo?
if it's not monitor,

remove your rams,
put 1 stick in slot 1 and try booting it, if no luck, try in slot 2

I have tried 2 monitors and the tv, none work, watchign the tv now and the gfs monitor 100x works, my monitor turns of some times but it works, and it was going from check video cable to no input when i plugged it in..

I have tried having ram in various slots no help, as well as running one of the sticks at a time.

It 'worked' as in it all loaded i got a msg that core componets had changed, restarted, bios, changed boot order, restarted got to windows installing off usb, didnt go anywhere so i restarted the comp, then i got errors 9c and 99, no success was told to reset cmos, No display at all since then.

Did i some how blow the mobo when i did the cmos, why would it be no display? (cmos is under the Vid card ) so maybe i fucked up the pci-e port? but neither card work in the top slot and my old card doesnt work in the lower slot (new card cant physcailly git there)

Mobo is fucked? i didnt have any bad noises or anything.

Next thing I would check in the motherboard standoffs, there needs to be one standoff for each motherboard screw hole...no more, no less.

Unplug psu cable from wall socket,
Remove cmos battery,
Hold power button of ur comp for 10sec to de energize
Go afk for 30min or an hr
Put cmos battery back in
Plug Ur psu
Turn on comp

If you unplug the PSU from the wall socket, then the PSU and therefore the chassis has no ground. Any capacitors in the CPU can't discharge then. Just that in itself could blow the motherboard. I don't believe that's what happened, but it IS possible.

It sounds like a standoff issue. Well it used to. Now it sounds like it may just be the mobo.
I checked all the BIOS's for his mobo, and none say for bulldozer or piledriver compatibility.
