When I 1st set it up...it CHOSE the CPU...I had to edit the SLOTS tab, and remove the CPU...for it to make full use of the GPU. ???

/e The TITAN has all those Cuda cores, maybe you should use the CPU instead ??


/ee I'm new to this too, Battleship is our Folding Expert atm. He PM'd me last night, he's running one project on his CPU and another on his GPU....seems Stanford assigns projects, depending on what CPU and/or GPU you have.

the gpu doesn't accelerate in a shit load of games, too

windows is shit too, idk why I even have 1 computer with it

Run it on Linux if you got a comp with that installed ....maybe?

I think Folding@Hokme likes CPU's more than GPU...unless you have an Nvidia card....even then it chose (for me) the CPU, which definitely ran slow and hot...so I removed it from the Slots Tab...and then the GPU took over and went gang busters.

Maybe if you have an AMD GPU you should run JUST the CPU...I really don't know. But w/e it's doing it helps Stanford.

/e I also have the slider set to full or 100%.

/ee It seems the User page updates 15 mins after you complete a WU...the TEAM page takes about twice as long.
