See look, only the negatives. The reinvention of the UI does need quite a lot of work on the desktop yes, but that sentence was mostly an opening antithesis for micro-transactions.

I did overemphasize the negative elements......if you knew my perspectives on microsoft better I suppose it wouldn't seem so negative. I really try to give them credit where credit is due.. In terms of power management/hardware system functions windows is pretty solid. They also are miles ahead in terms of gaming than any other system out there, short of virtualizing software like vmware. I know microsoft is capable of good things, they just need to hire someone who can engineer and functional/customizable/aesthetically pleasing interface.
