Hey, I'm just saying, we have no concrete proof of what AMD plans on doing because AMD themselves haven't put out anything.

Because it's a picture of a grid. You can't copy a grid.

Lolwut? Grids are perhaps the easiest thing to copy. o.O

AMD's Bulldozer Processors Reportedly Delayed, More Specs Revealed
Posted 07/18/2011 at 8:05am | by Paul Lilly @ www.maximumPC.com

A Turkish website known for posting pre-release information is reporting that AMD's Bulldozer launch is being pushed back by a few weeks. The reason, according to Donanimhaber.com, is AMD is having trouble churning out chips capable of reaching the clockspeeds required by revisions B0 and B1, though whether they're referring to the base clockspeed or Turbo Core is unclear.

As the story goes, AMD is planning to launch the following Bulldozer models:

FX-8150: 3.6GHz (4.2GHz Turbo Core), 8-core, 8MB L2 cache, 125W
FX-8120: 3.1GHz (4GHz Turbo Core), 8-core, 8MB L2 cache, 125W/95W
FX-8100: 2.8GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Core), 8-core, 8MB L2 cache, 95W
FX-6120: Clockspeeds TBD, 6-core, 6MB L2 cache, 95W
FX-6100: 3.3GHz (3.9GHz Turbo Core), 6-core, 6MB L2 cache, 95W
FX-4120: Clockspeeds TBD, 4-core, 6MB L2 cache, 95W
FX-4100: 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Core), 4-core, 4MB L2 cache, 95W

According to Donanimhaber, all seven processors will sport 8MB of L3 cache and support DDR3-1866 memory. All are also being built on a 32nm manufacturing process and are now expected to launch in August and September, depending on SKU.

The Bulldozer cores will support most of the instruction sets currently implemented in Intel processors (including SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AES, CLMUL, and AVX) as well as future instruction sets proposed by AMD (XOP and FMA4).
