They do say this you tard. They say it right on their site, each "block" is your GPU helping encrypt the bitcoin system farther. Also, if they used it for "evil" you wouldn't get in trouble, as they weren't letting you know, one of the main devs met with the CIA and they were cool with it, as all the power goes to do is encrypt their system. You can't read can you? It says it right on their site.

I don't pay for power, so it doesn't bother me. USA tax payers do.

Sounds like bullshit. What are they encrypting.

The site itself, like the trade passwords and the passwords you get for the coins. If they are decrypting something and not telling anyone the true thing they are doing, none of us are at fault unless we knew.

That's like saying "yea I sold him the gun, but I didn't know he was going to shoot someone with it. I didn't know he just got out of jail"

That's actually two completely different things. Unless you were a black market seller, you would know that he just got out of jail.

No, that's different. In most "schemes" as long as you are one of the people at the bottom who has no knowledge you don't get in trouble. Plus the guy met with the CIA and they said it was cool and alright. I trust the CIA more than Ghot.

Its completely the same thing. You're doing work for someone with no idea what they use it for. Could very likely be criminal.

I met the cia yesterday. They told me you are wanted in 12 states for suspected terrorism. Lying isn't hard. Where's their proof?

Don't you know how buying a gun works?

The seller has to do a mandatory background check of the person buying the gun. He would immediately see that the guy buying has been in jail very recently.

He could be lying, but than anyone could be lying. You don't know if it's being used for bad, so you are most likely not held responsible, we set up laws like that so people who get scammed don't get in trouble. The government would already know if they were doing something big.

This isn't as official as buying a gun in a shop, breakpoint. You sell a guy a gun off the street, you are responsible. What makes this any different. They blindly ask you to help them with encryption?

If you sell a gun off the street, then you're at fault no matter what because that background check is mandatory for a reason. Don't be stupid.
