most likely you have a small pos
250watt power supply that cant handle good gpus

best for 150bux
and even still the 5770 almost maxes
out that power supply

the money wasted from goin
vista to w7 coulda been a good upgrade
slaughter ojed u

5770+your cpu will play
all valve games/cod/wow
alot of the major games really

well the upgrade from vista to win7 I never expected, I kept hinting about it, and my dad did it without me knowing, it was 199.00 plus tax, so I'd image around $204.00 or something, but I didn't ask for it
he just did it as a gift to me cuz he see's how much I'm using the computer now, as for the video card, I'll be doing that with my own money, and honestly why would I need a new power supply? I didn't even think
that would be an issue, adding a video card would take more power from the power supply?

^ why are you blaming him for something my father did, I did not have any clue I was going to get win7, I never asked for it, and I still have my own money to buy a video card, why are you in here arguing?
it's not his fault, he had nothing to do with it, calm down dude...

It increases his post count. Or just to aggrevate things, perhaps he's just jealous because his daddy doesn't buy him anything? Or perhaps his daddy doesn't love him because he can't write in sentences and flames at every chance he gets?

Anyways, to get back on topic, the 5770 is probably still the better choice for the money. I can't remember what kind of power supplies Lenovo usually uses, but as urbanshaft posted, that basic PSU wouldn't be a bad idea.

no im pissed casuse
people come here for info
and r tards tell them to get something
that is a waste of money
955/460 play every game out
her cpu/w7/5770 will play the casual games
and suck in the high end
but i mean long as you have w7 its worth it
