heh, my vision was correct! except for the non drinking part.

how is alaska? i'd love to adventure in those alaskan woods!

To me, its just another place to live. Was a nice place. Got into lots of shenanigans outside though.

We rode snowmobiles across mostly frozen lakes that still had rings of water in the middle. If you weren't going fast enough, you'd fall in, lose the snowmobile, and have to pay an environmental destruction fine as well as pay to get it dug out of the lake.

Have driven through roads like this:


Although I personally don't know where that picture was taken. The caption on google says somewhere in Japan.


Went hunting several times on Kodiak Island (largest grizzly bears in the world there). It weighed a bit over 1000 pounds and was nearly 11 feet tall from top of skull to bottom of hind legs.

Have witnessed 7 feet of snow drop overnight.
Have seen glaciers calving into the water (while on a boat). That's pretty scary, to be honest. The waves generated from that are enormous.

I've been to Alaska as well, in the service. That pic is indeed, Japan.
