4GB is still fine for the large majority of tasks as long as you are running on a non bloated system.

Well it only took about an hour but I figured out how to change the horrible Win 7 shortcut arrow icon to the normal-sane XP shortcut arrow icon ...unfortunately I lost the link to the Windows XP shortcut arrow icon (Xp.ico), but I have a copy of it.





1. Download and install FXVisor54.msi
2. In the C:\Windows folder, create a new folder called: Icons
3. Copy and paste the Xp.ico file to that newly created Icons folder.
4. RUN the program Vista Shrttcut Manager tthat we installed in step #1.
5. Choose Custom, then at bottom choose Select and brwse to C:\Windows\Icons\xp.ico and double click it.
6. Just Restart or logoff to see the old XP shortcut Icon

Long time no see

I got the 2x 8GB Corsair Dominator Platinum Sticks ($199) and sent back the 4x4GB set today...and while conversing with Newegg, I noticed that the same 2x8GB set (1866Mhz) was NOW only $159, right after I ordered it....so I asked about that and they said they would put it in for approval for a $40 Newegg gift card....which just got approved today....so I bought the "pull fan" for my Hyper 212 EVO and a 16GB USB 3.0 Corsair Voyager USB3.0 Flash Drive.

Why not water Ghot?

Guess I just spent too many years working around VHV electronics. Don't think I'll ever feel safe with either water or metal, anywhere near any electronics :/
I know it's silly, but it's just too engrained in me I guess ...see a few ppl get dead, playing loose around electricity, and it sorta does that too ya.

On a lighter note Lasagne for breakfast is GREAT !

Well yeah ofc, I also got a whole pack of Johnnsenville Brat Patties...and my latest fantastic find...Wal Mart brand Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissants...60 seconds to mouth glory lol...they're even better than Jimmy Dean ^^

/e I just noticed Windows 7 Home Prem., doesn't like certain registry hacks....like installing Group Policy Editor, which doesn't come with Win 7 Home Premium....every time I reboot...Win 7 eats it :/
