Well it only took about an hour but I figured out how to change the horrible Win 7 shortcut arrow icon to the normal-sane XP shortcut arrow icon ...unfortunately I lost the link to the Windows XP shortcut arrow icon (Xp.ico), but I have a copy of it.


1. Download and install FXVisor54.msi
2. In the C:\Windows folder, create a new folder called: Icons
3. Copy and paste the Xp.ico file to that newly created Icons folder.
4. RUN the program Vista Shrttcut Manager tthat we installed in step #1.
5. Choose Custom, then at bottom choose Select and brwse to C:\Windows\Icons\xp.ico and double click it.
6. Just Restart or logoff to see the old XP shortcut Icon
