the thing really holding me back from getting it is the lack of glass breaker and seat belt cutter. at the least i would like a glass breaker.

if a crazy car accident or something extreme happens and I'm around, i wanna be able to help.

EDC for work ( armed security ) but i use blades for just about everything outside of work. from opening mail, to cutting random boxes to opening packages, and other random things. i don't cut rope or anything like that, but i use blades often for little random things. above all, it's there to be ready for self defense.

Get something like http://www.amazon.com/Seatbelt-Breaker-Emergency-Escape-Tool/dp/B002AMAXNA and just keep it in your car. Preferably somewhere where you're able to reach it with either arm.

Also, consider looking at a Spyderco Tenacious. It's easily one of the best knives at that price range.

They gave us heavy duty escape tools when I was deployed but they were useless. No one wore seat belts and the windows were reinforced polycarbonate material.

uh... lol

what i meant is that i carry enough stuff, especially for work. not going to lug it around with me, so it would stay in the car. where as an EDC knife is with me everywhere, every day.

I would carry a fixed blade knife. Fuck the law. At least 4-5" and solid through the handle.

Go get a Jim Bowie and be a man.

You can pretty much carry a sword with you around town, Just has to be in open sight.

if you put it under your shirt/in your pocket THEN it gets illegal
