It's not the Core temperature to be worried about, its the Vrm temperature.
Cooler VRM's will inturn give you a far higher & stable overclock, important for benching :)

VRM temp was only 45C for me last run
293core
496memory
slight artifacting, and I got a 3085.
Looks like I'm gonna be staying with 290 for awhile.
e) my god I love having a 2nd monitor in portrait while OC'ing (you can see everything being monitored, but vertically instead of horizontally)

780 ftw isnt a huge overclocker like lightning but idc, does all i need it to.

lightning OC's higher, i didnt want to get crazy on OCing gpu or else id have bought classy xD
