The AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition will now be available for $299 USD, down from $349 at launch.
According to AMD, these prices will go into effect on Monday, July 16.
AMD also says that their entire stable of 7000 cards received a “significant performance bump” with the recent Catalyst 12.7 drivers.
These aggressive price cuts are just another example of how the GPU wars are on, and beneficial for consumers.

they also just released reds, which are a cross between blacks and server grade HDDs, i would wait until they make a revision to buy in, but this will be my workhorse.
