Since you apparently need it spelled out for you:

If person A wants to spend a lot of money on something, and has the means to do so, that's fine.
If person B feels that spending a lot of money of certain things is a waste, that's fine too.
When person B takes to a forum to publicly excoriate person A (and to go on an on about it for weeks or more) for spending their own money in a way that person B would not (despite the fact that person A's expenditures have no bearing whatsoever on the life of person B), it's fucking stupid.
