Q701 and some dinky 2.0 speakers.

Enjoy your headphones Lee Lee.

I do love me some k/q 701's

I also have a pair of 2.0's

But i pretty much never use them, Unless I watch a movie or hulu/netflix while laying down. Which is rare now. Barely watch any shows anymore.

I tried getting into audiophile gear
But I don’t listen to much except news on the radio
So I wasted a bunch of money on headphones and a tube amp and cables but I didn’t listen to anything

Same with my desktop I bought high end parts but I don’t play anything besides LoL

Computers and electronics are such a waste of money unless you use it

Now when people show off their gaming rigs or audio setups or home theater setups or w/e I could care less. All money pits

(Same with cars but that’s not for this sub forum)

Everything is a money pit

If you aren't enjoying it move on to something else simple as that

That's highly subjective. Places like /r/frugal exist for a reason. Not everyone is out to spend the most $ on stuff

1) he said money pit, as in you must spend money... while spending lesser amounts is still spending

2) he said if you dont enjoy something then get something else you might enjoy, nothing wrong with that. yea its subjective... and?

you seem to be arguing without an actual point here?

You are missing the point. He's saying everything is a money pit, when it's not. It's subjective. If you buy $1100 headphones then yes that's a money pit. If you spend $150 on a pair, that will last you just as long as the $1100 version, that's not a money pit. That's being smart with your money. Very different

That moment when thinking spending $1100 for a pair of headphones is silly, triggers everyone.

I personally wouldn't spend $1100 on headphones. But I'm not going to rag on someone who chooses to do so. You're the one who's triggered about other people's spending practices.
