because like i have said, where i live people overprice way too much on selling and low ball really low on selling.

when i was selling my 6950 constantly offered 100$, same with 7950.... 75$ 100$ 150$.... so i just let my sister sell it in toronto. Boom 350$.

http://ontario.kijiji.ca/f-gtx-780-Classifieds-W0QQKeywordZgtxQ20780QQisSearchFormZtrue ontario 780 gtx listings.

my internets are broken
wont let me go to any links that I havnt visited in the past 30 min ; ;

But i know even around here its bad, someone was demanding 1100$ for their titan

e/
and any card that has at least 1gb of vram people want 125-150$, no matter what it is
Usually its like a 5570 or a 5770
and they sold for 140-150$ back in the day >.>

wonder what 1200 core 290 will do :o.

its funny.... dell sells the visiontek 290 for 420$ free shipping, 100-130$ less than major e-tailers, it is just hard to find on their site ;)

well if i buy the 290 at 420$ and tax thats 475 - 350 = 125$ im paying for it.

120$ more for the aio liquid cooler / bracket / vrm heatsinks. so 245$. which is fair for the gain i will see over a 7950 at 1440p

also, idgaf about benchmarks. I am looking for games, and the aio cooler has already proven, by others, to bring it down to 50c while being silent which is what I am going for. but i wont even order it yet its out of stock. i still have my ad up for a 780 but the cheapest up now is in toronto and its reference for 450$.

Did multiple valley tests after tweaking and and OCING both my CPU and my 780 FTW further than it came.

CPU and GPU speeds are in my sig.

Got an average 2885~ score, 69 fps average.

When I get home I will put it up. I saved all my benchmarks I did when testing and tweaking GPU

7950 to 290 is not "slight"... 290 is 780 performance when temps are under control. so it is 30% gain usually at 1440p.

look at the sapphire tri-x oc. reference pcb with a good cooler.

my 7950 could not get near that performance.

Well, ive come to the final conclusions about my 780 Lightning:

For 1200MHz to be stable, I need at least +100mV
Ive gone as high as 1370MHz, but needed like... +350 or 370mV? Temps were in the mid 80's at 80% fan. This did not help my Valley score AT ALL

I cannot overclock the Memory Clock. Even a small increase causes valley and any other benchmark to crash
Increasing my Memory or AUX voltage causes all benchmarks to crash. Sometimes, even applying a voltage increase causes the driver to crash and reverts back to stock.

The highest volts ive seen on the card is 1.45v if AB is correct
PCB/Memory/VRM temps were all under 70c

Power Limit at 300% only seems to allow 120%, but a few times I was able to see 140-150% at more extreme voltages

I tried to do 3D mark with the card, but higher voltages wont let me run the program

@1370MHz
