not worth the E-penis
a life-time warranty is the main thing (tekton so far is what I'm looking at)
I've been without a graphic for the past month. It has been hard.
I'm not going to buy a graphic until I know it's worth it.

The 290 and 780 benchmarks are close.
290 has 1gb more
with proper cooling they should do much better because they wont be throttling

Well the 780 FTW seems to do exceptionally well from reviews and has amazing cooling, and I don't think I'd need more than 3gb of VRAM anyways. I plan to play on only 1 monitor for now and possibly run 2 later. Don't think I will ever need 4gb of VRAM and when that time comes in future, I will just upgrade. I'd love to get the 780 Ti but I can't spend $700 right now as much as I'd like to.
Plus as I said EVGA's service and warranty are top notch and nvidia drivers are just so much better. Not saying the 290x isn't a good card because it is powerful but I don't think I can wait for non ref to come and see specs etc. I'm already in paitent as is having to wait lol.
I think I will be quite happy with the 780 FTW in the end, can always OC it a bit more if I honestly had to over the OC it has already.

You better have the proper place to put all of those.
Don't just throw them in drawers.
