Go with a MSI or Asus 290 if they are decently performing/priced.
If not MSI 780 lightning it is.

Well i dont know when or how soon the new 290s are coming out, because my new build will be ready to go after xmas (some parts are gifts) so yeah.
Plus id rather get the 780 FTW, being as i like evga's customer service more, warranty and all the reviews ive read on the card.

290 has 1gb more
