Another happy person I see.  :/

When I grew up lad...everyone smoked.  Fortunately you don't have to grow up in that environment.  :)

After 40 years of being addicted to something, which you have NO CLUE about...YES I do deserve a medal for trying to quit.  I guess you'll just have to deal with that.  ^^

/e  You guys crack me up.....this is how I see you when you say shyt that....

actually everyone around me smokes, for the entirety of my life. i didnt smoke weed in high school ( no drug for that matter ), didnt drink alcohol in high school, didn't do any of the trend things because what is the point? it's amusing how so many people can justify their actions because so many other people are doing it. nice, follow the crowd.

I didn't do anything ever till the service, right after high school. Even then, it took a while for me to start, hell it was like one cigg a week, then 2-3 etc etc, I peaked at 4 packs a day in my early 30's I guess. A lot of those 4 packs just were a few hits on cigg then flick it....etc., cause I was working construction then.

1.5 hours ago, I almost gave in, but held on. If I make 3 days, I should be good to go. It's just that it's getting down to cigarettes or food...I was literally spending $300-350/month on ciggs. I have quit for periods before, but always went back.
This time I don't have a choice...ciggs or food...food wins. :)

Chew gum when you get the urge. It will help. I also masturbate like 6 times a day now.

It's not so much that I''l east more food ( I will a little, I'm sure), but I have a very fast metabolism, and a cigarette shaped, hard plastic rod to chew on...which also makes a ton of saliva that fills the stomach and lower the urge to eat.

But that I'll be able to buy better food, or save it, or most likely save up for if any of the three things I don't have duplicates of...Dell U3011, LG 37" TV, Microwave (huge), A/C unit...should die on me and need replaced...which they will sooner or later.

Anyways, the killer urge to smoke has passed for the time being so I'm gonna try for a 2 or so hour, old man nap.

an addiction is still an addiction

work on day to day, than week to week, and so on, once it becomes yr to yr it feels like you are winning
