Listened to Stax SR-L700 today and I must say that those earspeakers sound by far best from any headphones I have tried. Really comfortable to wear and the sound is so pleasing and detailed that you just want to listen more. Wish I had so much extra money to buy them with the required amp.

Also today got Marantz SR7010 upgrade from SR7008 under warranty as my SR7008 had faults that didn't solve when the unit was repaired. Must say that Marantz warranty system works really well and I'm really pleased with the result!

It's always nice to get a free upgrade!

The sr7010 looks like it needs some more connectors on the back..[/sarcasm]

Funny you mention that as I only have 15 cables in back of my receiver. SR7008 pretty much had the same connections tho, main difference is in wireless connectivity. Got all the connections I will ever need, tho most likely I will never use over 20 of them..

Old one have atmos?
