I must be retarded. I have the ATH‑AD900X headphones and the cable for it will not un...twist? Not sure if that's the right word. It is still all corkscrew-like and is really annoying. I have my ModMic attached to it and really wish it was straight. I don't think I'm able to replace the actual cable, though?

Yeah. I really don't like it. My Sennheiser HD558's have a heavy, straight cable that I much prefer.

My Dt880's had a coiled cable that wasnt removable, I added in my own 3.5mm jack into the earcup & made a straight removable cable for it.


Getting a bunch of cable stuff in the mail over the next few days, I'll post pics of the cables I'm making for myself.
