Shovel the snow man, be a jolly happy soul,
With a warm fleece coat and a tossle cap, and boots all caked with snow.
Shovel the snow man, is a daily task, they say.
Cause it snows each night, and must be removed on each and every day..
There must have been some magic in the tossle cap he found,
For when he placed it on his head, he began to clear the ground!
Shovel the snow man, be as quick as you can be;
cause all the children then, can go outside,
and not slip and fall all day.
Shovelty, toss, toss, Shovelty, toss, toss,
look at that guy go.
Shovelty, toss, toss, Shovelty, toss, toss,
see all those piles of snow.
Shovel the snow man, get it off the walks and drives,
and he said, "Let's run, we'll have some fun, and we all won't slip and cry.
Down to the village, with a shovel in his hand,
Shoveling here and there, all around the square,
sayin', "Catch me if you can."
He led them down the streets of town, right to the traffic cop;
and only paused a moment, when he heard him holler, "Stop!"
For shoveling the snow man, took him nearly all the day,
Then he waved goodbye, sayin' "Don't you cry, I'll be back again this way."
