Because some program will only recognize Internet Explorer. Also to refresh and optimize Ghot's and my Verizon we need to, rather we can only use IE.

waste of money...

You don't buy hardware to last in the long run in the computer world.

Shit updates to fast. You buy and resell as soon as you see new shit is coming out. ;) learn from experience brosef

Naw Verizon has a TCP/IP stack optimizer tool....w/o the optimization i get 40Down/9Up with the optimization I get 42Down/42Up...and to use the tool requires IE

now that's it's optimized, I can uninstall Internet explorer, but there are some gfg online virus scanners than still require IE :/

so...until they change I'll just block it in firewall ^^

with experience you make better decisions, in this case it was pretty much a side grade

but congrats on win7 finally though

Exactly...the 955/965 (C3) which I didn't have, I had (C2) is a better all round CPU...BUT I wanted Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM and the Phenoms will void the warranty at any RAM speed over 1333Mhz and the lowest speed the Platinums come in is 1866..plus I got a SATA II mobo...even has SATA eSATA..with a 5 year waranty...and altho the Bulldozers have issues..if the Pile Driver or Steamroller or Excavators don't....I'm covered. My other mobo was only AM3 and DDR2.

...and keep in mind...nothing on new build is overclocked at all ^^

seriously you dont get it do you, they can not or even prove this on warranty

and the warranty on any component thats worth a damn is psu,

you dont buy shit for its longevity especially on pc(one reason I do not water cool anymore it gets expensive buying new blocks), on audio thats a different story

That wasn't the ONLY reason....the main reason was a SATA III/DDR3 mobo, that will take the next gen AMD Processors with RAM that's a decent speed
