What model of Montech is that? Did you look up the manufacturer's website for CPU cooler clearance?

I don't know of any CPU cooler that's less than 140mm.

140mm is the CPU cooler clearance for that Montech Flyer case.

The latest and greatest from Corsair is the 5000D Airflow.

Your Arctic Freezer 50 is not going to fit.

Below is the link to the manufacturer's product page.

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Software-Control-and-Monitoring-Cases/iCUE-465X-RGB-Mid-Tower-ATX-Smart-Case/p/CC-9011189-WW#tab-tech-specs

The allowable CPU cooler height is 160mm.

I don't know why you got a CPU cooler that's going to blow air to the side of your case. I mean if you're keeping the side panel off, sure.

It's not going to kill your computer, but it just makes no damn sense. It's like walking forward...but looking backwards and walking backwards. You're still walking the proper direction.
