I think the Babbage Difference Engine, didn't have any storage. It would "print" out answers and that was it.


Here ya go. I still have this and it still works.

HP Vectra VA (original Pentium Pro, 96KB of RAM and a vid card with 4KB of Vram. It has 1.2GB and 2.1 GB hard drives.
I put XP on one, and Diablo II on the other.

XP and D2 actually... ran. I could get onto Battle.net and into channel. I could even join a game. But once in Act I town, in the game... I couldn't move. :)

Omg... I had a Vectra VL166. The power button/LED combo was the coolest thing ever and the case weighted a LOT. I even painted mine black.

my first d2 pc was $300 off bay in 2003 imagine how cheap that was before that pc i had a gateway pentium 400mhz and before that pentium 200mhz to play quake 1 oh it was an hp i believe my sister had a 386 packard bell that broke within a night power supply died and circuit city gave us a new one they were expensive like $2000+ my sisters ex husband had a compaq and i played civilization and red alert on dial up with him he would own me in red alert like a bully this was 1993 or 1992 i remember my first cigarette that night i was 12 or 13 years old 7 th or 8 th grade i am 39 now sisters ex husband is a ceo somewhere airport IT you can linkdin him and see his profile but i wont say his name just because records are on the internet linked to me
