have you dealt with home edition? you cant turn shit off for starters
you know my shit is optimized and I have mine down to 2gb at bare min on idle
but not all windows installs are equal especially on 10
8gb isnt enough when telemetry, update, windows apps if used, un optimized windows along with HOME edition plus no browsing activity counted yet

and yes I've used home its not much diff.

Every time I've ever installed windows 10 it's always been about 4 gb on idle even with everything turned off.

I'm on whatever cheap ass version of win 10 so that may have a factor to play here.
