just for something like cpu/gpu?

like i'd seriously like to see it, it can't be any worse than running the kitchen faucet all day like linus' team was

YOU DON'T NEED FRESH WATER 24/7 LOL.

its still a closed loop, maybe flush it once in awhile.

i'd have to see it to understand it i guess.
i can't imagine metals transferring heat fast enough for a small project effectively, so i'd assume it would have to be flowing water. (not necessarily "fresh" water)

edit: i imagine an underground reservoir and a large pump

You could plumb it in past your pressure tank and filter before it reaches any fixtures that way if water is moving anywhere in the line it will cycle through the system first.
