I'm going with the i9 route to keep the computer viable for years to come without further upgrading - I use my computer for a mass variety of cpu intensive things so yes the i9 will suite me.
thanks again Ghot.
/ the amd10 8760 has treated me very well and I have nothing bad to speak of it.
Buying an i9 isn't future proofing your computer. That's an incorrect myth. Just ask Ghot who bought a 780ti and then a Titan only to have it be obsolete when the 980 and 980ti released.
I'm not saying don't spend your money how you want but I want you to know the all information before you make your decision.

After seeing the pics of Rikuo's glass desk incident, I would stay away from glass topped anything. :)
Hahaha that was a shitty day.

Not like I'm Going to use some 6mm shitty glass.
10-12mm high graded hardened glass. Probably costs twice of what he paid for that whole shitty table.
Good thing about the i9 series is you will get way more PCI-E lanes to play with and quad channel memory.
That's going to be heavy ass glass.
What are you going to use 44 PCIE lanes on? I'm pretty sure it still reduces to x8 after two gpu. My guess is you could get dual SLI at x16 but tri-sli would be 8/8/8.

You wipe your ass with 100s but run a 1050? Pardon.
