Just buy a bunch of little Bluetooth speakers and put them throughout your house. That way you can jam out anywhere you want to.

Otherwise yes, that Logitech will work for what you want. It gets loud and sounds decent if you just want some sound. I wouldn't break my bank on it unless you are in your mancave 24/7.

For manccave he is better with good 2.0 setup than those small satellites Logitech offers.

Yeah I might get a bic pl200 II for my sub woofer, that alone is around $300 but my coworker has one and loves it. Maybe next tax season I'll drop a grand or two on my theater upgrades and move my current stuff into my mancave. XD

AA Monitors are most likely best speakers under 500$ and maybe even little higher. So if you want good speakers for cheap you cant really go wrong with them. Of course if you plan to upgrade your HT you can use your old stuff for mancave.
