usually floats around 300-500 depending on their dell website sale.
You can stack member purchase prog discount, their coupon, and also got promo i can hook u up with, and ebates if that works in the states for more cashback.
It's definitely not cheap, but if you were willing to spend like $300 i would suggest the ultrasharp.
Otherwise, there are plenty other option u can find at pcpartpicker if ur just looking for a cheap ips 1440 27" monitor

yes dell ultrasharp are nice. but you said 1440p is around $300 on sale. thanks for suggestion
i would like the monitor ASAP and dont want to wait for a deal. also that deal is for 1440p.
i just want the best/cheapest monitor.

so for 1440p there was a lenovo for $200.

but i ended up with the LG 27UD58P-B 27” 4K UHD for $300

but theres also another model for $300. no clue whats the difference.... between the

LG 27MU58P-B Black 27" 4K UHD 2560p

and

LG 27UD58P-B 27” IPS 4K UHD

whats difference between the UD and MU versions? i cant find any difference

so just got the monitor. i cant figure out how to raise or lower the stand but whatever lol...

its nice and has a lot of settings for colors, gamma, brightness, etc. the screen does not get extremely bright though... lacks in that

i set the windows scaling to 125% which makes things much better. i cant tell if this would affect the video quality of movies in fullscreen using mpc hc?

Scaling doesnt affect movies. Just desktop things.

Put your hand on the base of the monitor & Pull up on the monitor with the other hand. Sometimes they can be pretty stiff to move.

Most likely.

/e If you need to be sure...look up the make and model of your new monitor on the manufacturer's site or Newegg, and check to make sure the monitor DOES have a height adjustment.
