Gsync is worth it from what I've heard, especially on 144hz monitors where the frames can vary widely depending on game optimizations, or lack there of.

i have 1080ti's and a 144hz gsync. super awesome for competitive gaming. you will be pleased.

But to answer your question:
i first bought some ghetto no name monitor with freesync and returned it. night and day difference in frame smoothness imo with a gsync monitor. Sidenote: tn panels kinda suck though and piss me off occasionally. do some research into difference between ips and tn if you care to understand more.

Do you not understand that even if working in fucking Microsoft Excel / spreadsheets that the lag is fucking immense? When you go from 144 to 60? How you think that is acceptable is beyond me.

How about you go try it for once and let me know how it feels.
