With Speccy.. like this...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

Also in Control Panel under "Network" if you right click your network and choose: properties, it should look like this...

Also in Control Panel is a thing called "Notification Area Icons", which will let you pick and choose what icons to show...down by the clock.

I would uncheck everything except the two I have checked, and run a speed test.

/e Just uncheck the others then click OK. DON'T click install or uninstall.

/ee That cFos Speed thing, is a 3rd party program. If you can still get online without it being checked.... then I would just uninstall it from Programs and features.

Go to control panel > programs and features... and uninstall cFos Speed.

...unless you need it for something OTHER than faster internet, that I don't know about.

I don't know how you got it either. It may ONLY have it's uninstaller under: Start > Programs > cFos Speed or similar.

/e With only those two things checked in Network > Properties...things should work fine. Those are all that I use, and I've never had internet speed problems.
The rest of those check boxes are for shyt you probably don't need. They come turned on by default with Win 7.

You can highlight each one and read it's description...or Goggle them, for more info.

The driver we downloaded is the latest driver (from ur motherboard manufacturer) for the LAN chip on your motherboard. The LAN chip is how you computer hooks to the internet.
I'm thinking (because of what I typed below) that you might have some weird ass driver installed for you LAN chip.

In Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center...my comp doesn't have Optimum Online Realtek... mine just says: Network #
