Water is the universal solvent. An hour or so in a 5 gal. bucket of distilled water will dissolve just about anything...other than some industrial strength adhesive.

it was beer. and it was there for over 24 hours cause I just completely assumed it was toast.

I just tried soaking it with alcohol and then I hair dried it and the top keys, qwertyuiop. well most of them, whenever i press them it adds a number.. so.

pretty sure it's incurable. i haven't ever spilled that bad was like half a glass. I was trying to drink with my left hand and it just fkin tipped wasn't used to positioning

Look I know it acts like a solvent but to expect it to straight up remove something thats had time to dry fully is silly.
More over your unaware of what said liquid even is. Would your water dissolve paint?
You'd need some kind of abrasion or shaking to loosen most caked on messes.
Soaking wouldn't cut it depending on the liquid in question.

drying electronics is like a 72 hour wait minimum.
Also opening it up and properly cleaning would help.

It doesn't act LIKE a solvent. It IS a solvent. It will dissolve just about anything, given enough time. For anything that might have been spilled on the keyboard...it will do the job in less than an hour.

I'm done arguing this with you. Every chemistry professor in the world agrees. It's one of the very first things they teach you, in fact.

ghot the point is if it already dried up
can you remove milk coffee juice etc after it has dried to a bottom a glass from soaking it there needs to be some type current in the water like stirring, your degree should have taught ya that

specially around all those crevices on the switches/circuitboard/etc
