Naw, bro...if you are sure you got the cables plugged in all the way (on both ends), then it's probably a bad power supply...it happens.



Try to get it replaced from the online store you bought it from...first. If it's past their time limit...just call Seasonic, and set up an advanced RMA (where they ship the new one, THEN you send them the bad one).

Uh, I'd hurry up and get the 650W replaced. The old Corsair 430W can barely run your comp. Don't work it too hard or it may give up the ghost.


/e It happens to us all. You build enough comps, sooner or later, you'll get a bad part.


/ee Another tip...whether it's Seasonic or Amazon...if you ask they may email you a delivery label, that you can print out and stick on the box when you return it.

No it's not. It doesn't happen that often, but it can happen. It could be one wimpy ass capacitor in the PSU, or similar. It could get missed in the QC or QA tests.

any idea how long it will be to send and receive a new power supply fi i send it back out tomorrow

also, will using the 430 until thursday be fine

It's the holidays and almost the new year. I start calling 8am tomorrow.

called tonight, we have prime so they sent a replacement and it will be here by thursday
