I highly doubt Corsair would replace parts if you tell them "Oh hi, your cooler leaked and got all over my ram and mobo and it ruined everything". You'd think they'd send out a new mobo and ram? I doubt it.

They 100% do. All of the time (on the rare occasions leaks occur). All it takes is a 10 second reddit post and someone will contact you. lol

They usually have you ship your PC/damaged components, but they replace it.

They will negotiate the value on used parts, but they're easy to work with. Corsair support is fantastic. All you have to do is talk to them like they're humans. I bought their HD120 fan pack (RGB fans) and was disappointed their website didn't mention you needed the $60 Corsair Lighting Node Pro to get the full RGB as seen on their website. They ended up sending me a Lighting Node Pro (with LED strips) for free.
