Depends on the games you play. But a 1440p monitor with a 1060 is going to be meh, Especially with 144hz.

Not everyone plays the newest and most demanding games

For such a smart ass, take a look at his guild name

That might start you out on the right track

His question wasn’t “hey is it funny I can only afford a 1060?”

His question was which fucking monitor do I buy

Yeah, next time you should include this in your OP so your friend doesn't rage

Butthurt because you aren't observant enough? Obvious LoL guild is obvious. Just like your D2 guild is obvious. Though you're out of your league in that guild.

and which monitor to buy is dependent on which games he'll play, to achieve max frame rate efficiency. and a 1060 won't be fluid for games at 144fps.

since he listed one with 75hz

"75hz" is the basic default monitor at 60Hz.

which for a 1060 would be ideal and very fluid

1060 for 144hz monitor not so much

a 1070, yes

yes IPS does look crispy and better for ui designers, etc.

however, not for gaming. 144hz or bust.
