I wonder what the 1800X can hit on water. Do you know if it comes pre-overclocked or are you going to do it yourself?

I am not sure what if anything Paul has overclocked. I will mess around with over clocking the cpu and gpus a Lil bit to see where they are stable at. I am not looking to push them to their absolute limit or anything like that though.

Looks like Just about every 1800X can do 4.0 GHZ

The absoulute best 1% can do like 4.2 on water.


The 1080's should be able to hit 2GHZ each without much tweaking at all.

Yeah that is what I have read or seen in videos also. Either way the system will be a huge upgrade over my current rig which is:

i7-6700k
R9-390
msi Z270 gaming M5 mobo
samsung 950 256gb
random 1TB for storage
32GB of g.skill tridentz 3200mhz (I will put this ram into the new PC if it fits but it looks like the water tube might be in the way and this ram is 11mm taller than the ram that is in it.) Otherwise I will sell the ram and get 2 more sticks of what is in the new pc so I still have 32GB.

Already got a buyer for my old rig, minus the RAM.

Sometimes criminal charges come into play. This is usually going to involve complex schemes that I won't delve into here.

It is very highly unlikely you will receive jail time over not writing off a free gift from newegg
