talking about lifetime warranty

didnt xfx offer lifetime warranties before?

and on that note isnt lifetime considered on the product not the buyer lol

like lifetime warranty on transmissions arent forever ever just the rated 200k miles/etc

argument can be cpu could be 7 yrs
gpu 5 yrs
psu 10 yrs
hdd 5yrs
etc etc
I bet its not even that long, wonder their warranty prolly means until its discontinued

The rep I talked to actually said it was my lifetime not the computer. XD I was like.. that shouldn't be possible, do you expect me to die soon? lol

Does anyone know how good of a discount you can get if you walk into microcenter with a list of parts you want to buy? Like a complete setup? Or do they not offer great discounts when you're about to drop 1-2k?

NZXT just released a new custom build service. https://www.letsbld.com/BLD

I made a build there and it seemed quite expensive.

Thank you all for all the input!

The whole reason for asking this is I don't have time to sit down and do that.

It's been mentioned multiple times throughout the thread.. >.>

Anywho, I'll probably just end up going to microcenter and have them price match stuff and ask for additional savings since I'd buy a ton from them. Then have them build it for me. I just am unsure how they do all that and if they'd offer any discounts or not. I heard if you do that they do offer a good amount off.

I know people that have done it and watched many sales people shop builds with a person

also if time is a factor, microcenter sells powerspec computers which from pics have all around descent parts on it

Eh, my wife wants me to wait a while. She thinks I should build my own and buy a part every month or two. I feel like that would not be wise in case any of the parts are defective, I don't want to have to deal with returns after 6 months.. lol I know parts normally have a 1-3 year policy, I am just unsure if I say I never used it and just opened it if MC would actually take it back or make me go through the damn mailing in process with the manufacturer.

E: I can most likely find time to build one myself whenever there is a holiday. Perhaps when I get a day off for Thanksgiving!

You could have been done with the build about 4 threads ago... it's seriously not hard and takes an hour or two tops. I find that extremely hard to believe you can't dedicate the time to making something your own...

I find it extremely hard to believe America has an obesity crisis when all you have to do is stop putting food in your mouth

Do you post anything releveant anymore or are you just some washed up troll trying to relive 2011 when trolling was the hype? Drink bleach already and stop wasting your parents money with school.
