Ok, so i just sold a smart TV. I believe I was signed into my amazon video account, my youtube account, and my Samsung account for the whole TV.

So I knew i had to remember to reset the TV to factory settings before selling it. But stuff kept coming up, I have been extremely busy with school and other things. I completely forgot, and feel stupid as shit for not doing it....

So all i can do really is just change all of my passwords online right? like i already changed my amazon password and i changed my samsung password.

Will changing all of my passwords make it so the TV requires all of these passwords to be reentered again? and lock the new owner of the TV out of my accounts, right?

I have not changed my youtube password, because i dont really think my youtube account can do much when logged into the smart TV? like yea its part of my gmail account, the youtube account, but on the smart TV i am pretty sure they can only access my youtube stuff and not the gmail?

Edit: wtf.... well i sold my other samsung smart TV and i still have my bigger better model samsung smart TV. and even though i changed all of my passwords for amazon and the samsung TV.... they are still logged into the fking TV.... shit, so what do i do now? my credit card is linked to my amazon account and they can just buy movies and shit... i contacted amazon but they told me to contact samsung... and samsung customer support closed now

You should be able to sign out all connected devices in your Amazon/Netflix/etc accounts from their respective web sites.

OFC ram latency is becoming a lot more important.
Years ago processors and graphics cards werent fast enough to the point where ram latency would matter, but nowadays both are catching up real fast where its starting to matter even more than ram speeds.

Its not for no reason one of the best ram you can buy right now (consumer base) is this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233999
Where cas 9 and cas 10 are still good for nowadays and there will be little to no delays even if you have a 1080ti and 7700k

oh man reminds me of disk interleaving back when processors and buffers were too pathetic to handle a contiguous stream of data from a magnetic disk. It was literally about making physical gaps of nodata between the sectors so that the machine had time to catch its breath between them. Nowadays we have SSD's that are many dozens of times faster than those hdd's of old and they can't even saturate 1% of a cpu's available resources most of the time... How the balance of power has shifted.

i tried that but for some reason it doesnt work. i changed my amazon and samsung password on their websites from my desktop. and when i accessed these apps from my smart TV, they were still logged in and did not ask me to input a new password. but on the desktop version of these, it did ask me to input a password, and the changed password worked for the desktop only.

i can try this because the bigger TV i still own is also a samsung smart TV

i tried this and i honestly dont see how, but it didnt seem to work for the TV?

I did text the guy who bought it and asked him to reset the TV and sent him instructions on how to do it. i just hope it resets the TV and is honest about it...
