cpu usage varies usually below 1% often spikes to 5%-15% though
I only get that 0.2% idle when it is in the background
One time it even decided, not while I was doing anything in particular, that it needed around 2 tflops worth of number crunching. chrome fail.

You also have to do so much to the discord css in order for it to even be usable, like hiding the blocked message bar which if you leave it vanilla just makes blocked people more obnoxious and noticeable than people you actually want to see.
TBH I wish everyone would just go back to Skype. It's so lightweight and responsive after you remove the ads. Uses very little memory too at that point. Aside from the occasional friend getting hacked by no fault of their own (happened to one who was a network security specialist, it's on Skype's end 100%) and messaging you with some weird sketchy url's, it was fine.
