Lee which virtual ones have you tried?

Idr off the top of my head, but ive tried a decent amount of the more popular ones.

I personally dont care for them. They make the soundstage seem larger, but to me it makes positioning less accurate. Im sure if i used it long enough to get used to it, itd probably work better... but its just not my cup of tea.

My hope is they'll eventually use binaural audio in games in the near future. Would require a lot of proccessing though, maybe a dedicated audio processor would offset that though... who knows. Pc audio hasnt advanced much latley :(

Dt770 are a great choice in your price range.

Theres not really anything sub 200 that can beat their quality and comfort imo.

Keep in mind if you want to put an arm on the yeti... theres only a couple shock mounts that fit it because of its unique size.. and the ones that do are around $40, also because of its size/weight the only arm that i know of that can support it is the $99 rode psa1 or w e its called

That won't support a Yeti, Its too heavy for it.
