i usually game 3-4 nights a week for 10+ hours each night. so im guessing that wouldnt be good for it?

i used to play 10 hour sessions of black desert on my 144hz and i never had a problem, black desert is a lot more visually demanding than most games as well

i think if you have HDMI 3 you shouldnt have a problem, and if you do there is always warranty

i have my monitors running constant 120/144 all the time, if the panel is made for it, it doesn't matter at all

you'll want dual link dvi to ensure your monitor will actually display 144hz+
i don't think anything below hdmi 1.4b and 2.0 supports anything higher than 120hz at 1080p.
and even then if your gpu doesn't support 1.4b+ the cable being 2.0 etc won't matter

displayport should become the one and only input/output, honestly. 4k 60hz, 240hz 1080p etc, and carries audio, royalty free? yes pls

actually, 100% agree

better stand than the gn246hl

and look at that, brand new, 144hz 1ms 1080p with freesync, under/around 200$,
with crappy speakers in case you're into that kind of thing

xl2411z and vg248qe retail for like 250$+ and even my refurb xl2411z was 205$

something about extra cost and freesync...

140hz or bust

I have an Acer 144hz, has more of a theater feel to it, my Asus 144hz is crisp as hell, i use it for most games and the Acer for netflix

wut?

The refresh rate doesn't matter for Netflix. At all. It's exactly the same on a 60Hz monitor as a 144Hz monitor. Most movies and shit are like... 24 fps.

Meeh not a great panel it's over 4 years old.
XF240H is a better choice and same price class.
