Just de-lid. Then, it doesn't matter what cooler you use.

I use a little Cryorig M9i. Replaced the 92mm fan with 2x Noctua NF-B9 Redux 92mm PWM fans in push/pull for a little bit of air movement since I have no exhaust case fan. Also, the fan that came with the cooler was loud and these are quiet.

I could use pretty much any cooler and get < 65C temps since I de-lidded, though.

Depends on your gpu, case size and airflow direction.

Naw, I meant having it as an exhaust you'll be pulling warm-ish air from inside the case. But if you have it as an intake, And your rooms ambient temp is low enough... It will knock quite a bit off of the CPU temps.


I leave my window open year round, And never turn on the heater.. I used to run an intake rad (Had it both ways) With a cold room, the temps are nice and low :3

Ayup.


Eventually when i get rid of my HDD's and move to SSD only.. I'll put another 240mm rad where the HDD cage is.

And have even more fans!
