I'm just saying you were saying 60-120 was like vsync on to off...

60hz on a 120hz/144hz monitor is still going to be the same input latency, As the hardware of the monitor doesnt change.


It will have a longer frame-time though, But thats different than input lag.

i can frame lock the game at 120fps (not vsync) and it still feels less smooth than 2000fps

so just upgrading the video card + RAM as Ghot suggested should give me the FPS i'm looking for?

SC2 is heavily CPU dependent.

A new GPU will help yes, ram not so much.
