you honestly dont think k models arent sold in hp, dell, etc?
are you obtuse?

btw they can just make the ihs lower profile to close the gap
but you saying they need to solder them to get lower temps is just plain nonsense

intel won't change their epoxy+paste solution unless it's straight up dumping that and going for solder

of course they sell k models in hp/dell etc. i equated those to ibuypower/cyberpowerpc, prebuilts in general. but a healthy portion of people buying brand new kabylake/coffeelake cpus are going to know exactly what they're buying

hard to buy an unlocked cpu on accident

they won't handle heat well and will throttle like mad unless intel starts soldering their cpus
not everyone has the time/money/patience and steady hands for delidding a cpu

at which point amd will prevail with the fact every last chip of theirs is unlocked, all the time.

let's just make a bet, ur 291.03fg vs my 500fg
that intel won't release their next CPU that cant handle heat well and cause throttle like mad issues.

Intel's new 10nm CPUs supposed to be released late 2017, they will be expensive but they will stomp ryzen lol

it's like 2500k will face the fx new series,
intel will release 3rd gen soon to compete it,
and some dude says 3rd gen gonna be expensive when they release, but it'll stomp the fx.
and u say oh man mumble mumble mumble, gonna be tougher to OC to its limits and not everyone has time to delid etc.
er.. ok? aside from stating the obvious idk where ur going with it.
the fact that it'll be more difficult to delid since it's only 10nm, which is done at ur own risk anyway?

1: it wont stomp ryzen
2: smaller architectures are harder to cool
3: clock speed is everything again
4: intel doesn't solder their high end non extreme chips
5: most of the people buying zen/kaby/coffeelake will oc

all of those affect heat
i don't know how you aren't understanding

1. dont know all we see are crap benchmarks, fx series did same thing
2. explain this logic plz do, considering there will be new innovation when needed but right now it isnt a problem yet, hopefully graphene will be hitting the scene or something else
3. ipc is superiority
4. 2500k was soldered I believe and many didnt upgrade which is one reason to not offer it
5. no, you must be obtuse on actual overclocking population
