First thing I would do is get your RAM running at the right speed. Unless you have 2400Mhz RAM, which the timings tell me you don't have...you probably need to go into the BIOS and use the XMP profile, which should set your RAMs speed properly.

HER comp definitely has faster RAM than 2400Mhz. The 16-18-18-35 timings tell us that.

The only other thing I can think of, is she may possibly has the ASUS Utilities installed. They come on the driver CD, and the Utilities, really shouldn't be installed.

Yeah I will make her clock her ram properly , but to be honest ram speed does not do that much. I will make her check for asus utilities and re-instal windows. Other than that I have no ideas anymore.

Yeah, I would bet it's a software issue of some sort. Infection, OS corruption, drivers...etc.

What kind of power supplies are you both using? Models and purchase date.

I feel like this is the first thing I should have checked, but her CPU ratio8 instead of 39 is at and her voltage at around .7V . That could be an issue , her cores only go up to 800 Mhz. May have to fix that! hehe.

Always nice to find something. :)

However, assuming her CPU settings were on Auto, then the CPU should speed up when needed.

If the CPU settings are on Manual with those numbers....then you may be on to something.

I ran benchmarks and under heavy load (100%) the CPU is stuck at EXACTLY 800 MHZ , in her BIOS the ratio is at 8x , which means it cannot get past 800 MHZ AFAIK. I will make her fix that as soon as we have a bit of time.
