Because Kinguin can't prove the keys are from MSDN (and also don't care) and Microsoft can't force Kinguin to hand over reseller private information? lol duh

So I explain it and give you an article about the entire process and prove it was even an issue 4 years ago that hasn't changed... and you don't believe me? Well I guess this pointless to discuss, then. lol

Microsoft sometimes takes action and disables the keys if they find they were sold. They can't keep track enough to shut it down.

Ok. So I posted a news article that describes the process exactly how it works, talks about how Microsoft is (was) working to combat it, and it still continues today. If it were that easy it would be stopped. What else do you need? An article from today dealing with the exact topic? Sorry, but it's old news. Everyone knows and Microsoft can't stop it completely. All they can do is revoke subscriptions, limit keys, and deactivate keys found to be resold. That doesn't stop resellers.

I don't need one. There's enough proof it occurs to normal people who actually care whether their key is 100% legit and legal or not.

ITT: guy with lots of spare time on his hands begs for sources on old, known info. and can't comprehend that $30 Windows Pro keys might not be totally legal.

Here's an example you can maybe comprehend? I dunno: Microsoft lets schools sell keys to students for pretty much nothing. Guess what? If someone were to forge some info., take some of those keys, and then sell them on a marketplace such as G2A, Kinguin, 3bay, etc. then you have exactly what we're talking about.

It happens with game keys. How are Windows keys any different? It's not like they have some epic protection that prevents it. lmao

It's not assumptions... you're just weird. Or trolling. I can't figure what. We do hear about people bitching. o_O

"People's experiences vary. My two friends and I have all had bad ones. My other friend bought Windows 8 from G2A, all was fine for a month or two but then the key he bought has been flagged as non-genuine by Windows. He has to jump through so many hoops to get his money back."

Kinguin and G2A are identical and direct competitors.

If a website is selling a OEM key and it is not attached to hardware, it is against Microsoft's ToS and is not gucci.

You're ignoring facts. Does Kinguin sell OEM keys yes or no?

If yes, then you have your answer as these keys are not supposed to be sold without accompanying hardware.

If they allow marketplace users to sell OEM keys, how do you know the other keys they are selling are not MSDN keys, which are ALSO against Microsoft ToS.

That is why it is gray market and not black market or pirated. You can't tell what is and isn't OK by Microsoft.
