I did and wow am I amazed.
The windows boot time is seconds, I've never been on a computer with a SSD till now.

They're pretty rad. I picked up a 500GB Samsung EVO 850 for $130 (USD) on Black Friday and sold the Watch_Dogs 2 key that came with it for $30. $100 for that SSD is pretty damn good. I have 2 of them now.

Yeah any PC built today MUST have an ssd. No matter how low the budget is.

I beg to differ. a WD black has close to 160-180mb/s transfer speeds. Not much slower than a low end SSD.

Can't say i've ever seen a SSD below 300+


And the real benefit, is HDD fall on their face for smaller files/random seek. SSD is insanely quicker at it.



But yea, I agree.. If you're really budget limited.. There's no need for a SSD if you could spend the extra money getting better parts. SSD can always be added later~

Depends on the brand. The Adata Premier Pro SP900 is pretty slow for being a SSD (talking like 140-230mb/s writes).
