Don't you guys have warranty in America? In Norway all products expected to last more than two years has five year warranty. If there's anything wrong with it in the first five years you literally get a brand new TV or money back. That is not optional, its national law.

I can't imagine a reputable (or any legal) store being allowed to sell you a product that dies within 18 months and not give you your money back, or a new TV for free.

Look, the TV will perform as stated in the objective technical analysis by Rtings, but the TV costs 300 fucking dollars for a 65" TV for pete's sake. the cheapest 65" from a non-shitty brand we have in this country is about $800 equivalent. So for 300 dollars go for it.

If you want a better TV @ 65", you'll have to spend more money. Simple.

There is manufacturer warranties and stores sell extra warranties for in store credit, new product, or to get fixed

Dealing manufacturer warranties can be hassle considering shopping costs and time

Buy it. Get it calibrated. Win.

Besides, don't put too much weight on the "smart features" of a TV. Get a Roku 4 and let it be your smart device.

And Skype is pretty much discontinued for TVs anyway.

How do you calibrate it? I looked up " 65uf6450 calibration" but all I found were forums where people go "COPYING SETTINGS IS MEANINGLESS AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!" haha

Yeah people on those forum posts just kept saying how everyone's panel and viewing conditions are different so there's no exact settings for any single model.

This is true. The light conditions in your TV room are not the same as others, and the white balance settings will be different, as well. The best calibration is going to need a light meter, signal generator, and software to help dial in the picture. Those are expensive, so it's best to have it done by a professional.
