I've had some issues with Comcast as well, majority of my problems were solved by changing dns settings. I'd suggest changing yours to 8.8.8.8 (Google's public dns server) and see what happens over a few days. If performance improves then goes downhill again, check your dns to see if it changed back to what it was before.

i've already tried this in the past when problems first occurred and it didn't fix
let me try it again because I've done multiple clean reinstalls on my computer since then but i doubt it's gonna work
